In a final battle for humanity, the HMAS Dauntless is shot down by Mad King Ludwig. The fearless Leftenant (a hologram perfect in every way -just ask her) awakens in a human body with no connection to her network or superior capacities. She must rely on an Australian guide robot and a snarky alien scavenger named Snafu as they trek across new Stranger Worlds to rejoin the rebellion.

#1 Now a wanted fugitive from the Mad king Ludwig, the Leftenant wakes in a deserted French Colony. She meets a six-legged scavenger Snafu and an Australian robot Outback Jack. Together they embark on a perilous journey across dangerous Stranger Worlds filled with Mixers and Wood Nymphs to reach the port city of Alexandria. Will they reignite the flames of resistance or suffer a fate far worse than death, repurposement.

#2 The Leftenant, a perfect hologram cruelly thrust into a human body, embarks on another perilous journey. Following the cryptic instructions of a mysterious device called the Thingamajig, she and robot adventure guide Outback Jack and French scavenger Snafu sail aboard the SoS Shipwreck to the floating island of Tournament World. There, in the shadow of Mad King Ludwig, chess-themed combatants from across the Stranger Worlds fight to the death in the annual gladiator games. Can the Leftenant solve the mystery and retrieve “the Rook" before the king’s Trenchcoats capture them?
